Man is the only species that pollutes. Nature does not waste because everything in nature decomposes eventually and becaumes part of the earth. Nature has a circular system. Our society an economy can be made circular in the same way.

Waste is an unwanted byproduct from our society, not only from an ecological point of view but also from an economical point of view. Why should we accept waste when it has no worth whatsoever and even costs a lot of money to get rid of?

In applying Cradle to Cradle (non-recyclable) waste should not exist: composable waste becomes food for nature (biosfere) and non composable waste becomes food for our society (technosfere). Waste will then be food for growth, natural and economical growth.
